Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Goglio G18 packaging machine to ensure products meet spec.
• Troubleshoot and carry out simple technical fixes to minimise downtime.
• Calibrate, clean, and prepare machinery for different SKUs.
• Monitor weights, seals, labels, and quality standards with accuracy.
• Train and support new team members on G18 operations.
• Assist with roasting, grinding, manual weighing, and hand packing as required.
• Learn to Roast and cover roasting shifts as required.
• Keep accurate records of production data, batch codes, and inventory.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace in line with HACCP & WHS standards.

At Seven Miles Coffee Roasters, we’re passionate about crafting exceptional coffee, and that starts with our people. We’re on the lookout for a hands‑on Production Assistant to join our operations team, working closely with our Roasters and Hand Packing crew to prepare and package our specialty coffee.

This role is all about consistency: you’ll take ownership of our Vertical Form Fill Sealing Machine (Goglio G18), packaging our beautiful freshly roasted coffee. While also lending a hand across roasting, hand‑packing, dispatch, and general production support. If you love working with machinery, take pride in precision, and thrive in a team environment, this could be your perfect blend.

Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 10:00pm

What you’ll be doing

Operate and maintain the Goglio G18 packaging machine to ensure products meet spec.
