Job summary

Pablo & Rusty’s North Ryde Roastery is seeking a Production Manager to lead a 10–12 person production team. You’ll oversee roasting schedules, inventory, and delivery coordination, while partnering with logistics and packaging teams to optimise workflows and drive innovation.

This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic management in a fast-paced environment. You’ll champion quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement, mentoring staff and building a capable, cross-functional team

We are looking for an exceptional Production Manager to lead our vibrant Production Team at Pablo & Rusty’s North Ryde Roastery. Our team is packed with coffee professionals who thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment!

You’ll work closely with our logistics, roasting, and packaging teams to deliver exceptional coffee experiences while driving innovation and efficiency across all aspects of production.

What does this role involve?

You will lead a team of 10–12 dedicated individuals, overseeing all facets of production and supply chain management. From roasting schedules to client deliveries, inventory management, and team development, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our production operations. Whether it’s coordinating freight, enhancing workflows, or problem-solving on the fly, your leadership will keep everything running smoothly and seamlessly.

You’ll also be at the heart of what makes our coffee delicious and sustainable, working with our team to maintain the highest quality standards while embracing innovative and eco-friendly practices.

The ideal candidate for this role…

You are a natural leader with experience managing production teams. You thrive on collaboration, have strong organisational skills, and are passionate about quality and customer service. You’re proactive, hands-on, and equally at ease solving complex logistical challenges or rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.

You’ll have experience in logistics, supply chain management, and HACCP compliance, and you’re comfortable leading team meetings, managing rosters, and training new hires. Familiarity with production tools and platforms, and a technical mindset are essential. Bonus points if you’ve worked in the coffee industry before!
