Job summary

UCC Coffee ANZ is seeking a Production Assistant for our state-of-the-art Sydney roastery. This casual role offers about 25 hours per week across three days, with occasional weekend shifts as required.

You will assist with machine packing, carton packing, stock management and general manufacturing tasks, working closely with the production team to uphold quality and safety standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Perks include coffee on tap and beans to take home.

Responsibilities

• Machine packing and hand packing.
• Carton packing coffee and stacking pallets for distribution.
• Operating and maintaining the ICA packing machine.
• Communicating coffee bean volumes for additional roasting to Roasters.
• Managing stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment.
• Completing documentation and performing general manufacturing tasks.
• Collaborating with the production team.

The role:

Are you passionate about coffee and looking to be part of a thriving coffee business? Join us as a Production Assistant in our state‑of‑the‑art roastery, where you’ll play a vital role in creating exceptional coffee experiences.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Machine packing and hand packing
• Carton packing coffee and correctly stacking pallets for distribution
• Operating and maintaining the ICA packing machine
• Communicating coffee bean volumes for additional roasting to Roasters based on pack list information
• Managing stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment
• Completing necessary documentation and performing general manufacturing tasks
• Collaborating effectively within the production team

This is a casual position offering approximately 25 hours per week, ideally worked across three days, with flexibility as business needs require. As we operate seven days a week, there may also be occasional weekend shifts from time to time.
