Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters in Sydney is seeking a Production Assistant to support our Roastery's packing, stock control, and daily manufacturing tasks.

This casual role is approximately 25 hours per week, spread across three days, with potential weekend shifts as business needs require. You will join a dedicated production team in a fast-paced FMCG setting, where quality and safety come first and coffee on tap is part of the perk.

Responsibilities

• Machine packing and hand packing.
• Carton packing coffee and stacking pallets for distribution.
• Operating and maintaining the ICA packing machine.
• Communicating coffee bean volumes for roasting to Roasters based on pack list information.
• Managing stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment.
• Completing documentation and performing general manufacturing tasks.
• Collaborating with the production team.

About Us

The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo, armed with Mum's garage, a beat-up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills of it all, but just that we were consistently consistent in roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family. The Role

Are you passionate about coffee and looking to be part of a thriving coffee business? Join us as a Production Assistant in our state-of-the-art roastery, where you'll play a vital role in creating exceptional coffee experiences.

You'll Be Responsible For

• Machine packing and hand packing
• Carton packing coffee and correctly stacking pallets for distribution
• Operating and maintaining the ICA packing machine
• Communicating coffee bean volumes for additional roasting to Roasters based on pack list information
• Managing stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment
• Completing necessary documentation and performing general manufacturing tasks
• Collaborating effectively within the production team

This is a casual position offering approximately 25 hours per week, ideally worked across three days, with flexibility as business needs require. As we operate seven days a week, there may also be occasional weekend shifts from time to time.
