Thales in Australia invites applications for a role within our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala. You will operate in a team to handle waste material, ensuring safety and environmental compliance while supporting plant operations.

The position emphasizes willingness to learn, strong communication, and problem-solving in a collaborative, safety‑driven environment. Prior to employment, pre-employment police checks are required.

OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

• Picking up of waste material from different sections and prepare waste to be burned

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Keen to build on your skills and willingness to learn


• Sound problem-solving skills


• Good communication – capable of working in a small tight knit team


• Sound understanding of documentation, and operating procedures


• Good computer proficiency for operation of computer-controlled plant
