Job summary

Aligned Energy Systems is seeking a Production Operator to join our Wodonga manufacturing team. You will operate CNC press brake and router to fabricate aluminium components, loading materials and ensuring quality to meet production targets.

The role offers training on our equipment and processes, with pathways to grow within fabrication roles in a small, supportive team. It is a full-time, on-site position with potential overtime and a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC press brake equipment.
• Process aluminium components to drawings and job requirements.

• Perform repetitive batch production work.
• Meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain accuracy and quality at pace.
• Inspect finished components for dimensional/visual quality.

Aligned Energy Systems is an Australian engineering and renewable energy business developing and manufacturing innovative energy products.

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Wodonga.

This is a fast-paced, high-pressure production role involving repetitive processing of aluminium components using CNC machinery, primarily a CNC press brake and CNC router.

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Operating CNC press brake equipment
• Processing aluminium components to drawings and job requirements
• Loading and unloading aluminium sheets and components
• Repetitive batch production work
• Working to daily production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining accuracy and quality while working at pace
• Checking finished components for dimensional and visual quality
• Deburring and preparing aluminium parts
• General workshop and production duties
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following production procedures and safety requirements

This is a high-output manufacturing environment, so you will need to be comfortable working under pressure, maintaining concentration and keeping production moving throughout the day.

Training will be provided on our equipment and manufacturing processes.

• Can remain focused and productive during busy periods
• Previous CNC, fabrication or manufacturing experience would be an advantage but is not essential for the right person.
• TIG or MIG welding skills would be highly regarded.
• Experience working with aluminium would also be an advantage.
