Rinnai in Braeside, Melbourne's south‑east, is seeking a Production Operator with hands-on CNC experience. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machinery, inspecting parts to spec, and ensuring correct delivery and identification.

You will maintain safety and efficiency on the production floor. The ideal candidate has extensive CNC experience, strong problem solving and communication skills, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating CNC machinery with CNC controls, especially punching machines.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good command of English.
• Certificate III in Manufacturing or related qualification preferred but not essential.
• Sound mechanical knowledge.
• Forklift licence or willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC machinery in line with SOPs.
• Inspect parts to meet specifications.
• Ensure identified parts are delivered correctly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on complex equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other manual handling gear.
• Monitor and manage consumable stock and place orders as required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing manufacturing business located in Braeside, in Melbourne’s south-east suburbs.
We are a market leader in supplying advanced heating and cooling, hot water and lifestyle products to the Australian domestic and commercial markets.
We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with strong CNC experience who takes pride in producing quality work and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating CNC machinery in accordance with SOPs
• Inspecting and checking parts to ensure they meet required specifications
• Ensuring completed parts are correctly identified and delivered
• Performing preventative maintenance procedures on complex machinery
• Operating forklifts and other manual handling equipment
• Monitoring and maintaining consumable stock and placing orders as required

You have:

• Extensive experience operating manufacturing machinery with CNC controls, particularly punching machines
• Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Good command of English
• Certificate III in Manufacturing or a related qualification preferred but not essential
• Sound mechanical knowledge
• Forklift licence or willingness to learn
