Job summary

Linde plc in Australia seeks a Gas Plant Production Operator to manage filling, handling, and testing of BOC and private cylinders. You will focus on improving productivity, service levels, and asset utilization, while upholding health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include performing procedures, maintaining equipment, ensuring product quality and on-time delivery, and working a shift rotation.

Qualifications

• Formal certification in relevant production activities.
• Two years exposure to industrial environments.
• Experience in Gas Production; specifically preparation, control and analysis of products for continuous or batch operations.
• Ability and willingness to work day and afternoon shifts, on a rotational or relief basis if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and perform production duties per procedures and internal standards.
• Work safely in line with OH&S and Loss Control policies and WA safety regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping within the work areas.
• Ensure product released for delivery meets specifications.
• Ensure product quality from raw materials to end product per TGA/Medsafe requirements.
• Minimise losses while performing operations.
• Prepare, control and monitor equipment for continuous operations.
• Inspect and maintain equipment for continuous operations.
• Provide high-quality service to internal and external customers.
• Report issues regarding the workplace or position requirements.

We have an opportunity for you to join us as aGas Plant Production Operator- to be primarily involved with thefilling, handling, and testing of BOC and privately owned cylinders and its processing.
Your focus is tocontinuously improve and meet performance targets in productivity, service level and asset utilisation for Compressed Operations, whilst promoting Health, Safety, Quality and the Environment.

What you will enjoy doing

• Reading, understanding, and performing all production duties in accordance with written procedures, BOC internal standards and relevant external standards acts and/or regulations
• Working in a safe manner in line with company Occupational Health and Safety and Loss Control policy guidelines and Western Australia Workplace Health and Safety legislation
• Responsible for the housekeeping within the relevant work areas
• Ensure product released for delivery to customers is within BOC documented specifications
• Ensure medical product quality (from raw material to end product) maintained as per requirements of Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) / Medsafe
• Ensure product losses are minimised whilst performing operations
• Prepare, control and monitor equipment to ensure continuous operations
• Inspect & maintain equipment to ensure continuous operations
• Ensure that the service provided to customers, both internal and external, is the highest possible standard
• Reporting and discussing any issues regarding the workplace or position requirements
