Job summary

PR Polymers Pty Ltd in the Greater Brisbane Area is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, schedules, quality, and continuous improvement. The role requires coordinating with suppliers and customers to meet production targets and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

You will lead a team, manage maintenance plans, and drive ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 activities to sustain performance.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, production management, and process optimization.
Knowledge of quality control standards and production efficiency practices.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience in the mining or industrial sector would be supporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day production operations, projects, people and processes.
Maintain Quality and Environmental Management System ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015; drive continuous improvement.
Schedule workloads to meet customer quality expectations and lead times.
Monitor and maintain production KPI targets and performance.
Ensure stock levels and resources align with production and delivery demands.
Provide training to the team to enhance skills and efficiency.
Manage employee performance reviews in line with manufacturing standards and safety requirements.
Oversee maintenance and repair schedules including capital expenditure.
