Job summary

Primo is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Australia. You will champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement while driving productivity and accurate reporting.

Lead by example, coach cross-functional teams, and manage weekly stocktakes, yield improvement, and KPI communication. This role offers growth within a major FMCG business and a collaborative culture focused on excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, WHS, HACCP, and quality systems.
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence across multiple stakeholders.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical skills with production data and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all production activities comply with SOPs, GMP, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
• Enforce dress standards and oversee GMP/start-up checklist completion.
• Review and sign off on HACCP and QCP documentation, ensuring product quality and compliance.
• Monitor Critical and Quality Control Points and guide corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain housekeeping standards aligned with 5S principles.
• Communicate KPIs and performance expectations clearly to the team.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members, building future leaders.
