Job summary

AMA Prestige Harris + Adams Auto Repairs, West Gosford, is seeking an experienced Workshop/Production Manager to oversee the smooth running of the workshop and ensure repairs follow approved methods with quality as the priority. You will lead a team in a safety‑first environment, manage workflow from arrival to release, and drive profitability while meeting productivity targets and customer expectations.

• Experience in a management role within collision repair or similar workshop environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines and deliver quality repairs on time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site is a safe working environment for all staff.
• Process vehicles on arrival and manage workflow.
• Assist with parts, paint and consumables orders and receipts.
• Oversee repair process to meet productivity targets and quality.
• Lead production to meet profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Support site management in driving site profitability.
• Oversee workshop housekeeping.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop/ Production Manager to join the team in West Gosford.

You will be responsible in ensuring the smooth running of the workshop and that the appropriate method of repair is adhered to, estimate is followed and that quality is paramount.

Role responsibilities

• Ensure the site remains a safe working environment for all staff
• Process vehicles upon arrival
• Assist with the ordering and receipting of parts, paint and consumables
• Manage the repair process to ensure timely, cost effective quality repairs are carried out
• Manage the production of the site to meet the set productivity targets and customer expectations
• Assist in the management of the site to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
• Oversee the housekeeping within the workshop

• Previous experience in similar management role within the collision repair industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to set and adhere to deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to delate tasks.
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications in particular excel
• The ability to motivate, manage and get the best out of your team
• Strong commitment to work in a safe manner
• Be reliable, punctual & hardworking
