Job summary

Gliderol Garage Doors in Pinkenba is seeking a hands-on Leading Hand to join our Production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a small team, coordinate daily production activities, and ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role suits someone who mentors others, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will read engineering drawings, uphold quality and safety, and work with internal teams to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
• Experience as Leading Hand, Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Hands-on leadership with a focus on quality and safety.
• Availability to work Monday to Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm and Friday 6:00am–12:00pm.

Responsibilities

Gliderol Garage Doors is seeking a motivated and hands-on Leading Hand to join our Pinkenba Production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a small team, coordinating daily production activities, and ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, mentoring others, and taking ownership in a fast-paced production environment.

What We Require

• A hands-on leadership style with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Availability to work Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 2:30pm and Friday 6:00am to 12:00pm.

• Experience with SAGE or similar ERP systems.
• Experience using power tools, measuring equipment, and assembly tools.
