Platinum Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join a busy production kitchen based in Moorabbin. You will prepare, cook and assemble meals in a high-volume environment, ensuring consistent quality and presentation across large-scale production.

The successful candidate has strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a professional kitchen team, while adhering to food safety standards and workplace procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial, catering or production kitchen.
• Strong food preparation and cooking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Reliability and a positive team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and assemble meals in a high-volume production kitchen.
• Follow recipes, production schedules and portion control requirements.
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and flavour.
• Ensure all food is prepared, stored and handled in accordance with food safety standards.
• Monitor food stock, assist with stock rotation and minimise waste.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet daily production targets.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
