Job summary

ARB 4x4 Accessories in Melbourne is seeking a Production Engineer with strong CNC CAD/CAM machining and process improvement expertise. You will design, develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment and CNC strategies, with supporting documentation that aligns to ARB's engineering standards.

Role includes new product introductions, tooling design, and ongoing production support, working with Design, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams to drive manufacturing excellence through

Qualifications

• Trade or degree in Engineering or related mechanical discipline.
• Strong CNC programming and CAD/CAM experience.
• Experience in manufacturing process development and process improvement.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machining, tooling, and production systems.
• Hands-on problem-solving approach.
• Experience with robotics, automation or Lean Manufacturing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Develop CNC machining strategies and programming.
• Create supporting documentation in line with standards.
• Lead New Product Introductions (NPI) and tooling design.

Production Engineer - CNC CAD/CAM & Process Improvement

ARB is Australia's largest manufacturer and distributor of premium 4x4 accessories, recognised globally for innovation, quality, and engineering excellence. We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with strong expertise in CNC CAD/CAM machining & programming, exposure to fabrication and manufacturing process development to join our Production Engineering team.

Role Overview

The Production Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, CNC machining strategies, and supporting documentation in alignment with ARB's engineering and manufacturing standards.

The role enables the successful introduction of new products and services into production while providing ongoing support for existing ARB aftermarket products throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with Design, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, you will help drive manufacturing excellence through innovation, process optimisation, and continuous improvement.

This position offers a diverse mix of responsibilities across CNC programming, process development, new product introduction (NPI), tooling design, and production support.
