Job summary
ARB 4x4 Accessories in Melbourne is seeking a Production Engineer with strong CNC CAD/CAM machining and process improvement expertise. You will design, develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment and CNC strategies, with supporting documentation that aligns to ARB's engineering standards.
Role includes new product introductions, tooling design, and ongoing production support, working with Design, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams to drive manufacturing excellence through
Qualifications
- Trade or degree in Engineering or related mechanical discipline.
- Strong CNC programming and CAD/CAM experience.
- Experience in manufacturing process development and process improvement.
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, tooling, and production systems.
- Hands-on problem-solving approach.
- Experience with robotics, automation or Lean Manufacturing is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Develop CNC machining strategies and programming.
- Create supporting documentation in line with standards.
- Lead New Product Introductions (NPI) and tooling design.
- Provide production support across ongoing lifecycle and continuous improvement.
