ARB 4x4 Accessories in Kilsyth, Australia, is seeking a Product Development Engineer - Electronics to join our Electrical Engineering team and drive innovative electrical products from concept through to production. You will work across the full development lifecycle, coordinating technical activities, solving complex engineering challenges, and guiding hardware and firmware designs.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Product Development Engineer - Electronics to join our Electrical Engineering team and support the delivery of innovative electrical and electronic products from concept through to production.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the full product development lifecycle, coordinating technical activities, solving complex engineering challenges, and helping bring new products to market.

A strong understanding of electronics hardware is important. The successful applicant will use their technical expertise to undertake designs, provide engineering guidance, evaluate technical solutions, identify risks, and support sound engineering decision‑making throughout the development process.

This is a developing role with the opportunity to contribute directly to the design and development of electronic hardware, embedded systems, and future product architectures.

About You

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline with minimum 3 years industrial experience.
• Experience in product development within an electronics, electrical, automotive, industrial, or related environment.
• Sound understanding of electronic hardware design principles, including schematics, PCB design, component selection, and manufacturing considerations.
• Experience with hardware and firmware designs.
