Care Food Co in NSW is seeking a Production Assistant (Kitchen Hand) to join our kitchen team. You’ll help prepare and deliver nutritious meals, keep the kitchen clean and safe, and support chefs and staff in daily operations.

You don’t need to be a qualified chef. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. The role offers flexible rosters, training, and employee benefits through Cater Care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and meal production
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with daily kitchen operations
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment

• Safely handling and storing food and ingredients
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Helping with stock handling and kitchen organisation

About the Role

As a Production Assistant (Kitchen Hand), you’ll work alongside our kitchen team to help prepare and deliver quality meals while keeping the kitchen clean, safe and running smoothly.

Your day may include:

• Assisting with food preparation and meal production
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with daily kitchen operations
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and food preparation areas
• Safely handling and storing food and ingredients
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Helping with stock handling and kitchen organisation
• Working as part of a supportive team to deliver quality service
