Cater Care is seeking a Production Assistant (Kitchen Hand) to join Care Food Co in NSW. You’ll help prepare and deliver nutritious meals, keep the kitchen clean and safe, and work as part of a supportive team.

You don’t need to be a qualified chef. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn, with casual rosters and opportunities to grow within Cater Care.

• Previous kitchen, catering or hospitality experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and meal production
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with daily kitchen operations
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and food preparation areas
• Safely handling and storing food and ingredients
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Helping with stock handling and kitchen organisation
• Working as part of a supportive team to deliver quality service

About the Role

As a Production Assistant (Kitchen Hand), you’ll work alongside our kitchen team to help prepare and deliver quality meals while keeping the kitchen clean, safe and running smoothly.

Your Day May Include

• Assisting with food preparation and meal production


• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with daily kitchen operations


• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment


• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and food preparation areas
