We are looking for a passionate and reliable Production Chef to join our NSW team on a casual basis.

About the opportunity

As a Production Chef, you’ll play an important role in preparing and producing high‑quality, nutritious meals in a busy catering environment. This role is ideal for a Chef who understands that food needs to be not only delicious, but also safe, nutritious and appropriate for each individual’s needs. A sound understanding of Texture Modified Food is essential, including the ability to prepare meals to the required texture and consistency while maintaining quality, presentation and food safety standards.

Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with menus, recipes and dietary requirements.
• Preparing and producing Texture Modified Meals to the required standards.
• Ensuring consistency in texture, portion size, quality and presentation.
• Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Working efficiently within a busy production kitchen.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared and delivered on time.
• Taking pride in the quality and presentation of every meal you prepare.

About you

You’re a qualified or experienced Chef who takes pride in your work, enjoys being part of a team and is committed to delivering consistently high‑quality food.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Practical knowledge and experience with Texture Modified Food.
• An understanding of special dietary requirements.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good organisation and time‑management skills.
• A reliable, positive and professional approach.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.

Experience in Aged Care, healthcare or contract catering will be highly regarded.
