Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a Production Assistant (Kitchen Hand) on a casual basis to join the Care Food Co team in NSW. You will help prepare and deliver nutritious meals, keep the kitchen clean and safe, and support the kitchen team daily.

This role offers hands-on kitchen experience and the chance to contribute to high-quality meals for clients. In this role you'll engage in food prep, dishwashing, stock handling, and maintaining hygienic kitchen spaces, while following safety and WHS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and meal production
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with daily operations
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas
• Safely handling and storing food and ingredients
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Helping with stock handling and kitchen organisation
• Working as part of a supportive team to deliver quality service
