Job summary

Cater Care is hiring a Production Assistant (Kitchen Hand) for Care Food Co in NSW. You’ll help prepare and deliver nutritious meals, keep the kitchen clean and safe, and support chefs and staff in a fast-paced environment.

No chef qualification required; an attitude to learn and reliability are valued. Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential, with flexible rosters and career development opportunities available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and meal production.
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with daily kitchen operations.
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Safely handling and storing food and ingredients.
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Helping with stock handling and kitchen organisation.
• Working as part of a supportive team to deliver quality service.
