Impact HR Group is representing a leading Australian manufacturer in Sydney's western suburbs seeking Extrusion Machine Operators for the Chipping Norton site. You will operate extrusion machinery, monitor quality and output, and perform basic adjustments to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

About the Role

As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you will be involved in the operation and monitoring of extrusion equipment, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Operating extrusion machinery and production equipment
• Monitoring product quality and production output
• Performing basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
• Recording production data and maintaining accurate documentation
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Assisting with general production and housekeeping duties

What We're Looking For

• Manufacturing, production, machine operating, or extrusion experience is advantageous but not essential
• Stable employment history with reliable attendance
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Valid Australian working rights (visa holders should provide details of work rights and visa expiry dates)

Future Roster Changes

Please note that within the next 3 to 6 months, these positions are expected to transition to a 7-day rotating roster comprising 12-hour shifts.

• 6:45am to 3:15pm
• Monday to Friday

Afternoon Shift

• 2:45pm to 11:00pm
• Monday to Friday

Night Shift

• 10:45pm to 7:00am
• Sunday to Thursday
