Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with injection moulding machinery.
• Prepare materials and components for production.
• Monitor machine operation and production output.
• Assist with machine setups, changeovers and adjustments.
• Unload finished products from machinery.
• Trim, check and finish manufactured products as required.
• Conduct visual quality inspections.
• Use hand and power tools as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work area.

Our client is an Australian industry leader in the manufacturing of screen media for the mining and mineral processing industries. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking reliable and hands on Manufacturing Technicians to join the Manufacturing team based in Campbellfield.

This is an ongoing opportunity offering full time hours with a genuine view to permanency for the right person.

Shift:

• Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 2:30pm
• Friday 6:00am to 12:00pm

Duties:

• Operating and assisting with injection moulding machinery
• Preparing materials and components for production
• Monitoring machine operation and production output
• Assisting with machine setups, product changeovers and adjustments
• Removing finished products from machinery
• Trimming, checking and finishing manufactured products as required
• Conducting visual quality inspections
• Using hand and power tools where required
• Manual handling and general production duties
• Following safe operating procedures and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience within manufacturing, production or machine operating environments
• Injection moulding experience is highly regarded, but not essential for the right candidate
• Plastics, rubber or technical manufacturing experience will be viewed favourably
• Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn specialised machinery
• Comfortable working in a hands on manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Excellent punctuality, reliability and attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment
