WesTrac is seeking a seasoned Product Support Advisor to join the Marandoo site, Pilbara WA, supporting CAT fleet reliability. You will partner with maintenance and operations to drive uptime, identify improvements and reduce costs.

Key requirements include Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Trade Certificate, mining/field service experience, strong CAT diagnostic skills, and the ability to work autonomously or with site teams.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Trade Certificate required.
• Experience in mining or field service environment.
• StrongCAT diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience supporting large mining fleets.
• Proactive approach to reliability and maintenance improvement.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Able to work independently and with site teams.

Product Support Advisor | Drive Reliability Across a CAT Fleet

WesTrac is seeking an experienced Product Support Advisor (PSA) to join our team supporting the Mining Equipment Maintenance operation at Marandoo, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

About The Role

As a Product Support Advisor, you will work closely with maintenance and operations teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities, optimise equipment performance, and reduce operating costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice across the CAT fleet
• Conduct equipment inspections and reliability assessments
• Support diagnostics, troubleshooting and fault-finding activities
• Drive preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with planned component change-outs and warranty support
• Develop strong customer relationships and provide ongoing operational support
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication between stakeholders
• Support frontline maintenance teams while minimising downtime

About Marandoo

Located in the heart of the Pilbara, Marandoo is a major iron ore operation offering the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled maintenance team supporting critical mining equipment.

Roster

• FIFO from Perth
• 8 Days On, 6 Days Off - 12-hour shifts

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Trade Certificate
• Proven experience in a mining or field service environment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities across CAT equipment
• Previous experience supporting large mining fleets
• A proactive approach to reliability and maintenance improvement
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with site teams
