Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a proactive Product Security Engineer to join the Joint Systems Capability team in Brisbane. You will help enhance and sustain operational software on the Wakulda Air Battle Management System, contributing to secure design, testing and integration across multi-disciplinary projects.

As part of a diverse, inclusive team, you will apply engineering lifecycle practices, collaborating with experts in security planning, software and hardware implementations,

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' experience in Product Security or Cybersecurity supporting complex technical development and integration projects.
Proficiency in Engineering Processing (design, test, software, technology) related to Product Security and security planning.
Design and implementation of System Security packages across domains (information assurance, intrusion detection, software protection, communications security, network security).
Ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team in an inclusive way and proactively solve problems.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, implementation and sustainment of secure software/hardware for aerospace systems.
Work as part of a team on security planning and integration across projects.
Adhere to engineering lifecycle processes and ensure first-time quality.
