Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a proactive Product Security Engineer to join the Joint Systems Capability team in Brisbane. You will help enhance and sustain operational software on the Wakulda Air Battle Management System, contributing to secure design, testing and integration across multi-disciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Product Security or Cybersecurity supporting complex technical development and integration projects.
• Proficiency in Engineering Processing (design, test, software, technology) related to Product Security and security planning.
• Design and implementation of System Security packages across domains (information assurance, intrusion detection, software protection, communications security, network security).
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team in an inclusive way and proactively solve problems.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Product Security or Cybersecurity supporting complex technical development and integration projects.
• Proficiency in Engineering Processing (e.g., design, test, software, technology) as related to Product Security. Including working as part of a team contributing to security planning and implementation.
• Proficiency in design and implementation of System Security packages of work including as related to system security domains (e.g., information assurance, intrusion detection, software protection, software assurance, communications security, network security, reverse engineering, SIEM experience)
• The ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team, in a conscientious and inclusive way and a proactive approach to problem solving is valued by our team.
• (Desirable) Linux and Windows System administration skills, particularly working with software development and configuration management tools; virtualization; and networking.
• Familiarity in Devops environments and automated build software tools
• Familiarity of software infrastructure tools and industry best practices
