Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a proactive Product Security Engineer in Brisbane to join the Joint Systems Capability team. The role focuses on enhancing and sustaining operational software security across complex development projects, and you will collaborate with software, hardware, and security disciplines to ensure first‑time quality.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in product security or cybersecurity, with experience in security lifecycle processes, system security

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Product Security or Cybersecurity.
• Experience with engineering processing related to product security.
• Experience designing and implementing system security work packages.
• Familiarity with security domains: information assurance, intrusion detection, software protection, software assurance, communications security, network security, reverse engineering, SIEM.

• Contribute to security planning and implementation within complex development projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to apply engineering lifecycle processes.
