Jobgether is seeking a Product Owner (Matchmaking) based in Australia to shape the post-purchase journey and drive meaningful matches for paying users. You will own opportunities from hypothesis to experiments, collaborating with engineering, design, and data science to improve activation, personalization, and engagement.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional leadership, and a bias toward execution in a remote-first environment with global reach.

Qualifications

• Proven B2C product management experience with full lifecycle ownership.
• Experience with discovery for high-volume catalogs or connections.
• Familiarity with search relevance, recommendations, or matching systems.
• Understanding segmentation, personalization and data enrichment to improve outcomes.
• Experience in marketplaces, dating or discovery platforms.
• Ability to translate insights into testable hypotheses and requirements.
• Experience designing and evaluating A/B tests and other experiments.
• Ability to drive delivery from discovery to implementation.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the post-purchase customer journey from activation to meaningful matches.
• Improve matching relevance and ensure appropriate option volume for users.
• Increase engagement and early-week successful matches.
• Design engagement mechanisms to drive conversations and connections.
• Use segmentation and enriched data to improve recommendations.
• Identify bottlenecks via metrics and qualitative feedback.
• Define hypotheses and success metrics; write actionable requirements.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with engineers, designers, analysts, and data scientists.
• Plan and run experiments; measure results and iterate on wins.
• Own outcomes and adapt priorities based on evidence.
