Job summary

Future Grid is seeking a senior Product Manager to lead the Low Voltage Network Analytics initiative. You will drive analytics product strategy, collaborate with utilities, and coordinate across engineering, commercial, and regulatory teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of electricity distribution processes and technology integration, with hands-on experience across multiple departments within Australian or NZ utilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Australian/NZ electricity distribution.
• Full Australian working rights required.
• Willingness to undergo National Police Check.
• Minimum 5 years working with IT vendors in the electrical distribution industry.
• Familiarity with Australian, NZ and US regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of smart metering, DER and renewable technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with electricity utility customers to implement, develop and optimise analytics solutions within their environment.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across departments to improve operations in distribution, transmission and retail.
• Deliver practical, technology-driven solutions addressing key business challenges across multiple customer departments.
• Design innovative analytics features for smart metering, DER solutions, and related technologies to improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks across Australia, NZ and the US and manage privacy considerations in software development.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to engage customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Oversee data management initiatives, including privacy and security protocols during development.
• Monitor industry trends and incorporate them into business strategies.
