Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Product Manager for Governance, Risk & Compliance to safeguard and enhance the product lifecycle within the Products and Analysis team. You will uphold and improve the governance framework across the entire product portfolio, report to the Senior Manager of Product Delivery, and ensure alignment with strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of banking products and solutions and ability to work with multiple product/customer segments.
• Understanding of the financial services regulatory environment and bank policies.
• Experience with project management methodologies and product lifecycle frameworks.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Law.

Responsibilities

• Governance: oversee the Product Lifecycle Framework and ensure change initiatives comply with governance requirements.
• Risk management: contribute to the management of the Business Unit Risk Profile and risk treatment plans.
• Process improvement: review products, processes and policies to drive continuous improvements.
• Compliance: embed compliance within the Product Lifecycle Framework and align with bank policies.
• Stakeholder management: collaborate with leaders across Products, Risk & Compliance, Consumer, Business, and Technology.
