Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Product Manager for Governance, Risk & Compliance to safeguard and enhance our product lifecycle. You will uphold the framework that governs our portfolio, report to the Senior Manager of Product Delivery, and align development with strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations.

The role demands meticulous risk management, continuous process improvement, and strong stakeholder engagement across Products & Analysis, Risk & Compliance, and Technology to deliver

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of banking products and solutions, with demonstrated experience across multiple product or customer segments.
• Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment for Financial Services and product lifecycle governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present insights to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Product Lifecycle Framework and ensure change initiatives meet requirements.
• Support management of the Business Unit Risk Profile and risk treatment plans.
• Review products, processes and policies to uplift product management capabilities.
• Embed compliance requirements within the Product Lifecycle Framework and align with Bank policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with leaders across multiple business units to drive alignment.
