Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Technical Product Owner to own the strategy and roadmap for application and container security. You will guide developers and platform engineers to build secure software from code to cloud, balancing speed with risk management.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will champion DevSecOps, integrate SAST/DAST, container security, and CI/CD tooling, and collaborate with risk and compliance to meet regulatory requirements while delivering resilient applications.

Qualifications

Significant hands-on experience in application security and secure coding practices.
Proven leadership in a product Owner or similar role with Agile backlog management.
Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST, and container security.

Responsibilities

Define the product vision and roadmap for application and container security, reducing risk and increasing value.
Lead secure coding practices and champion DevSecOps across engineering teams.
Manage the lifecycle of security tools from evaluation to operation, enabling faster vulnerability response.
Collaborate with development, operations, risk and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
