Job summary

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is seeking a senior Product Leader to own a critical product portfolio, shape multi-year roadmaps, and drive exceptional customer outcomes across branch, mobile, phone, and digital channels.

You will report to the General Manager Products & Analysis and lead a high-performance product team, aligning strategy with regulatory standards and enterprise pillars for sustainable portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing, embedding, and executing product roadmaps and portfolio strategies in financial services.
• Strong financial literacy with portfolio P&Ls, margin dynamics, and pricing analytics.
• Hands-on delivery with agile product practices and backlog management.
• Excellent communication to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of regulatory governance and customer care standards.
• Mentors teams to foster high performance and learning culture.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Define and execute customer-centric strategies with multi-year roadmaps across channels.
• End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Manage from concept through GTM to ongoing optimization and simplification.
• Performance, Pricing & Portfolio Economics: Own pricing structures and financial frameworks to drive profitability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Distribution, Marketing, Digital Channels, and Technology teams.
• Technical & Backlog Prioritisation: Translate needs into user stories and guide trade-offs with delivery squads.
• Proactive Risk & Governance: Ensure compliance with APRA standards and ethical market practices.
• Team Leadership & Capability: Inspire and develop Product team with a continuous improvement mindset.
