Job summary

D&D Technologies, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, seeks a commercially minded Product Development Manager (Core) to lead the ongoing enhancement, performance, and profitability of our established product portfolio in Australia. You will manage lifecycle activities, drive VA/VE initiatives, and lead sustainable packaging projects across polymer, metal, and electronic categories.

You will work with product development, R&D, sales, marketing, operations, and compliance to deliver impactful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline.
• 10+ years experience in product management or development.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and change processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage product lifecycle across polymer, metal, and electronic categories.
• Drive value engineering, sustainability packaging programs, and cost improvements.
• Coordinate ISO documentation and product change records.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to track portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Compliance.
