Job summary

ITW Construction Asia Pacific in Dandenong, VIC seeks an R&D Manager to lead a small team and drive new product development, technical excellence, and regulatory compliance across building products, fasteners and hardware.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, translate market insights into innovations, manage quality systems, and mentor engineers to deliver high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience leading engineering, technical, quality or R&D teams in building products or related sectors.
• Proven track record in new product development from concept to commercialization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development from concept through validation and commercialization.
• Translate market insights into product improvements and innovations.
• Develop and manage product specifications and compliance programs.
• Lead a small technical and quality team with a hands-on approach.
