Job summary
Qantas Airways is seeking a Product Designer to own the end-to-end design and delivery of innovative mobile app experiences from discovery to iteration, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams.
You will facilitate workshops, champion our design system, and ensure solutions meet brand, accessibility and quality standards while leveraging AI to speed prototyping and handover to developers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Service Design, UX, UI, CX or similar roles.
- Understanding of design for native apps and digital platforms.
- Strategic thinking to deliver innovative outcomes.
- User-centric focus on objectives and deliverables.
- Experience developing and promoting a product vision collaboratively.
- Wireframing, persona creation, user stories and user testing experience.
- Experience with UI design patterns.
- Familiarity with Lean, Design Thinking, Scrum and Kanban.
- Knowledge of usability and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA).
- Proficient with tools like Miro, Figma, Lovable, ClaudeCode, Cursor, Adobe Creative Suite; JIRA and Confluence.

- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of innovative mobile app experiences.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define problems and deliver solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, champion design system, ensure accessibility and quality standards.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance design and handover processes.
