Job summary

KPay Group in Australia is offering a Product Design Intern – Global Markets to join our Australia Product team and gain hands-on experience designing digital fintech products across multiple markets.

You will work with Product and Design teams, assist in user flows, wireframes, and testing, and learn how research informs design decisions. A pathway to a full-time Product Designer role is possible for high performers.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Design, UX/UI, HCI, Digital Design, or related discipline.
• Strong interest in Product Design, UX/UI, and digital products.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
• Basic understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable receiving and applying feedback.
• A portfolio, university project, or personal project demonstrating your design work.

Responsibilities

• Support design of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Assist in improving business and customer digital experiences.
• Contribute to design systems and maintain consistency across products.
• Work with senior designers to iterate and improve designs based on feedback.
• Support customer interviews, usability testing, and concept testing.
• Gather and organise customer feedback and research insights.
• Help translate user insights into practical design improvements.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers across multiple global markets.
• Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and product discussions.
• Support the product development process from discovery through to launch.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Design Intern – Global Markets to join our Australia Product team and gain hands‑on experience designing digital products in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

You’ll work closely with our Product and Design teams across multiple global markets, contributing to real product initiatives while learning how products are researched, designed, tested, and shipped.

This internship offers a potential pathway to a full‑time Product Designer role for high‑performing interns who demonstrate strong design capability, ownership, and potential.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design

• Support the design of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs
• Assist in improving business and customer digital experiences
• Contribute to design systems and maintain consistency across products
• Work with senior designers to iterate and improve designs based on feedback

User Research & Insights

• Support customer interviews, usability testing, and concept testing
• Gather and organise customer feedback and research insights
• Help translate user insights into practical design improvements
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers across multiple global markets
• Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and product discussions
• Support the product development process from discovery through to launch
• Learn how to balance user needs, business goals, and technical requirements

What We're Looking For

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Design, UX/UI, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, or a related discipline
• Strong interest in Product Design, UX/UI, and digital products
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools
• Basic understanding of user‑centred design principles
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
