Job summary

Galaxy 2014 in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Product Coordinator to blend creativity with practical production coordination. The role is 90% floor-based in a warehouse with cool-room conditions, working closely with production staff to maintain quality, presentation and timely operations.

You will train and support staff, coordinate product presentation and merchandising, and prepare simple documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Previous product coordination experience in a similar role.
• Experience in production, FMCG, wholesale, retail or horticulture environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product presentation, design and colour combinations.
• Monitor daily production activities to maintain quality and consistency.
• Train, guide and support production staff on the floor.
• Make decisions on the spot and respond to changing production requirements.
• Assist in coordinating merchandising activities, product range presentations and special events.
• Support product training initiatives and the introduction of new products.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and presentation.
• Prepare presentations and complete administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Work hands-on alongside the team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
