Job summary

Australian Broadcasting Corporation's Radio National is seeking a Producer for Global Roaming to create specialist audio content and grow audiences in line with ABC's Audio strategy. You will research, produce, and coordinate broadcasts while briefing presenters and editors.

• Produce online content in line with the best practice advice from the Society & Culture digital team

Position Description:

About You

You're a creative, deadline-driven producer with a genuine passion for global affairs and storytelling that reflects the diversity of the Australian community.

You also possess:

• Sound editorial judgement and a track record producing engaging audio and online content that grows audiences
• Experience or knowledge of Riverside, the InStudio system, with solid broadcast and digital production skills
• High interest and experience in geopolitics and international/global affairs
• Well-developed contacts and the ability to source high-level talent and diverse voices
• A collaborative communicator who thrives under pressure and brings the ABC Values to life every day
