Job summary

Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) invites applications for a Producer role on Global Roaming at Radio National in Ultimo. You will research and produce specialist audio content to grow audiences in line with ABC's Audio strategy.

You will brief presenters, coordinate pre-records and edits, monitor current events, and produce online content with guidance from the Society & Culture digital team. ABC offers mentoring and a strong commitment to diversity.

Qualifications

• You're a creative, deadline-driven producer with a genuine passion for global affairs and storytelling that reflects the diversity of the Australian community.
• Sound editorial judgement and a track record producing engaging audio and online content that grows audiences
• Experience or knowledge of Riverside, the InStudio system, with solid broadcast and digital production skills
• High interest and experience in geopolitics and international/global affairs
• Well-developed contacts and the ability to source high-level talent and diverse voices
• A collaborative communicator who thrives under pressure and brings the ABC Values to life every day
