Job summary

Mitchell Shire Council is seeking a Procurement Specialist on a permanent, full‑time basis with a Monthly ADO. Salary begins at $78,500 to $89,500 per annum plus superannuation.

You will assist the Procurement Coordinator with procurement activities, advise stakeholders, develop systems and maintain registers to improve council operations. The role offers flexible work arrangements where possible, development opportunities, wellbeing programs, a values-based culture, and meaningful work in one

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a procurement specialist to assist the Procurement Coordinator to undertake procurement processes across Council and provide advice to internal and external stakeholders. You enjoy developing and implementing systems, maintaining registers, participating in contract management meetings and preparing reports.

This role is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a Monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $78.5K to $89.5K pa (Band 5) plus superannuation.

About You

You are a well organised, efficient person who has great communication skills both written and verbal and have had experience working in a purchasing/procurement role. You are a team player and good at continuous improvement, providing advice and working with people across all levels of an organisation.
