Job summary

Ettason is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our Sydney-based team. You will manage end-to-end purchasing, PO creation, supplier coordination, and cost control, ensuring timely delivery and compliance across Asian food products in Australia.

This role reports to the Supply Planner and involves close collaboration with procurement, logistics, and finance to optimise stock levels and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Solid knowledge of purchasing processes, policy, and systems.
• Experience as a purchasing officer or related role (1–3 years).
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; able to analyse data and costings.

Responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders and manage end-to-end purchasing process.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customs agents, freight forwarders, and AQIS for compliance.
• Track shipments, update ETD/ETA, and manage pricing and delivery schedules.
• Prepare reports on purchasing and inventory usage; support CRM/ERP processes.
• Assist in stock replenishment and optimization of safety stock levels.
• Oversee office procedures and supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency.
