Job summary

Mitchell Shire Council in Broadford is seeking a Procurement Support Officer to assist the Procurement Coordinator with end-to-end procurement processes, provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders, and help maintain efficient purchasing registers.

The role is permanent and full-time with a Monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at AUD 78.5K to 89.5K pa (Band 5) plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Well organised and efficient with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in a purchasing/procurement role is essential.
• Ability to provide advice across all levels of an organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Coordinator with end-to-end procurement processes.
• Develop and implement systems and maintain purchasing registers.
• Participate in contract management meetings and prepare reports.
