Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a highly organised Procurement Operations Support Officer to provide procurement and contract administration support across the Bank. You will be the first point of contact for procurement enquiries and guide stakeholders on policies, procedures and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, contract management or governance.
• Ability to support procurement reporting and analytics.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled procurement tools is a plus.
• Ability to review documentation for policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, administrative and first/second level support for procurement and contract management systems.
• Serve as a first contact for procurement inquiries and guide stakeholders on policies and procedures.
• Ensure daily processing of procurement, contract management, fleet administration is accurate and timely.
• Provide business operations guidance to external and internal customers on procurement processes.
• Support low-value, low-risk self-service procurement using AI-enabled tools.
• Monitor systems and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues early.
• Assist with contract execution through DocuSign and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain contract records in the Contract Management System and support renewals and variations.
• Produce regular contract management and expiry reports and coordinate actions for continuity.
• Support procurement reporting obligations and information for commonwealth agencies.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to progress requisitions per policies.
• Assist fleet services administration and liaise with external providers.
• Ensure activities comply with industry regulations and manage fraud/risk per policies.
• Assist with planning, testing and verification of system changes and improvements.
• Maintain contingency arrangements for systems, operations, customers and stakeholders.
• Support configuration, user support and data quality in the Contract Management System.
