Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build supplier relationships.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure goods and services for operations, ensuring policy compliance.
• Identify potential suppliers, perform market research, assess capability and pricing.
• Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing to secure favorable agreements.
• Coordinate procurement with internal departments and project teams to meet timelines.
• Review requisitions, create purchase orders, and track orders for timely delivery.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure regulatory and audit compliance.

We are seeking a committed and talented Procurement Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement processes. The ideal candidate will posses strong negotiation skills and a passion for driving efficiency in Procurement!

Requirements

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Source and procure goods and services required for operations, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, and evaluate supplier capabilities, quality, and pricing to make informed sourcing decisions
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and terms for the company
• Coordinate procurement activities with internal stakeholders, including departments and project teams, to meet their procurement needs and timelines
• Review purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and track order status to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferable but not essential
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
