Job summary

Davey Water Products is seeking a proactive Procurement Officer in Scoresby to manage end-to-end purchasing, build supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement across procurement activities.

You will work with ERP/MRP systems, negotiate terms, and ensure policy compliance. This is an in-office, five-day role focusing on high-volume, low-margin environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement within manufacturing/supply chain.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge (Pronto highly regarded).
• Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.

Play a key role in our supply chain success

We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Procurement Officer to join our team in Scoresby. This is not just about raising purchase orders—it's about making an impact! You'll be working at the heart of our operations, partnering with stakeholders, building supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement across procurement activities.

This is a 5 day a week, in office role

What You'll Do:

• Manage end-to-end purchasing, including POs, deliveries, and backorders using ERP (Pronto preferred).

• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver sourcing solutions.

• Use MRP/ERP systems to monitor inventory and optimise stock control.

• Negotiate contracts and terms where appropriate to add real commercial value.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, governance, and regulatory standards.

• Contribute to process improvements and cross-functional projects beyond traditional procurement.

Added advantage (if you have at least 1-2 of these, please highlight them in your resume):

• Experience working with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) or demonstrated exceptional attention to detail in procurement processes.

• Exposure to high SKU environments where working at pace and managing complexity are the norm.

• Background in high compliance environments - such as industries requiring certifications, regulatory documentation, or strict quality controls.

What You'll Bring:

• Previous experience in procurement, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environment.

• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge (Pronto highly regarded).

• Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.

• Strong communicator and negotiator with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Commercially astute and solutions-focused.

• A team-oriented mindset, willing to pitch in beyond your core role.
