Job summary

Sydney Tools in Sydney, NSW, is seeking an autonomous Procurement Officer to lead our global supply chain. You will manage purchasing from local and international suppliers and coordinate logistics to keep shipments moving smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a similar role, strong Excel, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks while building strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware or automotive industry preferred
• Advanced experience in Excel

Responsibilities

• Purchasing items and materials from local and international suppliers
• Seek suppliers through online ecommerce websites
• Coordination of logistics
• Liaising with customs broker and freight forwarder regarding shipments, clearance and delivery
• Review product offerings and identify opportunities by introducing new products not currently available
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding shipment status (warehouse, product, sales)
• Complete other administrative tasks on an ad-hoc basis

• Work autonomously and be responsible for purchasing itemsand materials from local (Australian) andinternational suppliers.
• Seek suppliers through online ecommerce websites.
• Coordination of logistics

• Review our existing product offering and identify sales opportunities byintroducing new productscurrently not available in the current range.
