Job summary

Rishworth Aviation Limited is seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Officer to join its Brisbane-based team. The role will support stores and materials management, ensuring procurement aligns with manufacturers’ requirements and operational needs.

Key duties include monitoring inventory, raising POs, sourcing materials locally and internationally, coordinating shipments, and maintaining traceability. Strong MS Office skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in planning, buying, procurement, supply chain or logistics.
• Experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available when required.
• Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate records and stock traceability.
• Source and purchase materials from local and international suppliers.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and customs officials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Assist vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Manage goods receiving and dispatch, including shipping coordination.
• Conduct regular stock takes and maintain inventory records.

The role will support the stores and materials management functions, ensuring all procurement activities are carried out efficiently and in line with manufacturers’ requirements and operational needs.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available when required.
