Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater Australia operates on a FIFO roster at Century Mine (Lawn Hill) in Queensland. The Processing Plant Operator will manage milling, flotation and thickening operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and environmental compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• FIFO experience preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Operate the processing plant facility (milling, flotation, thickening) and ancillary equipment to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safety of all personnel in the facility and associated areas.
• Work safely and report unsafe behaviours observed.
• Identify, report and rectify all hazards.

Sibanye Stillwater Australia, a subsidiary of Sibanye Stillwater Limited (a multinational mining and metals processing group), is a leading mining, tailings management, and economic rehabilitation company. Our flagship Century project in Queensland stands as Australia's largest tailings remining and processing operation.

A rewarding opportunity currently exists for a Processing Plant Operator to join our Sibanye Stillwater Australia team based on site at the Century Mine (Lawn Hill). This position will be offered as a permanent role on a FIFO basis - 15 days on /13 days off roster Day and Night shift.

The Processing Plant Operator will be responsible for:

Operating the processing plant facility (milling, flotation, thickening), and ancillary equipment, to meet production requirements safely and efficiently in an environmentally sound manner.
