Job summary

29Metals’ Golden Grove operation in Western Australia seeks a Process Operator to support zinc, lead and copper concentrate production. You will report to the Mill Production Supervisor and work a 2:2 roster (day and night shifts), ensuring compliance with operating strategies and safe, efficient plant operation.

Qualifications

• Background as a process operator in mineral processing plants.
• Exposure to crushing, grinding, flotation, and dewatering circuits.
• Current C-class driver’s licence (manual).

• Operate plant and equipment to meet production targets.
• Perform routine clean-up to ensure safe, well-maintained equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, control, report, and correct hazards and loss sources.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, reports, and daily variances.

About the Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Process Operator to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Mill Production Supervisor and work on a 2:2 roster (day and night shift). Your focus will be on supporting the production of zinc, lead, and copper concentrates, ensuring compliance with operating strategies.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Operating plant and equipment efficiently to meet production targets and operational goals.
• Performing routine clean-up duties to ensure plant equipment is safe and properly maintained.
• Ensuring that hazards and sources of loss are identified, evaluated, controlled, reported, and corrected.
• Maintaining accurate records, including shift logs, reports, and daily variances.
• Adhering to site standards and procedures while actively participating in safety initiatives.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have a background as a process operator in mineral processing plants.

Other Key Skills, Experience, And Qualifications

• Exposure to crushing, grinding, flotation, and dewatering circuits.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Outlook).
• A current C-class driver’s licence (manual).
